Leonard Nimoy: The Ballad of Bilbo Baggins

Have you seen this video yet? If you haven’t watch it now. If you have, watch it again. It is the most randomly awesome thing you are ever likely to see.

This song was off his second album “Two Sides of Leonard Nimoy”, and a badly lip-synced version of it was televised in 1967, with these five choreographically disabled girls providing some brilliant moves. I particularly love the action breakdown with the weird fucking bells.

Ironically, BBC once-upon-a-time planned a production of Lord of the Rings with Leonard Nimoy playing Aragorn, but this is about as epic as any fusion of Nimoy and Tolkien can get.
